TU/eXperience Public Day

Sunday 18 May 2014: TU/eXperience Public Day

This year our annual TU/eXperience Public Day takes place on Sunday 18 May 2014. Young and old alike can experience TU/e through all kinds of hands-on activities relating to ‘Energy, health and smart mobility’.

Learn how you can build your own robot, watch 3D-TV without special glasses or operate lights with your own tweets. Around 400 students and colleagues will be pulling together to make the TU/eXperience Public Day an unforgettable and successful day. Visit the TU/e campus on 18 May from 12.00 till 17.00 and become inspired! Of course, as a TU/e member of staff/student you are most welcome to bring along your family and friends.

Check out the full program on www.tue.nl/en/publieksdag. The TU/eXperience Public Day is part of the Dutch Technology Week.

The Department of Electrical Engineering will open its doors to welcome the visitors in buildings Potentiaal (floor 1 and 0) and Corona (high voltage lab).

Because we are showing quite a lot of demos, we need lots of help, also from our students, to have things run smoothly. On the door of the THOR room a list can be found. Please write your name and email address on it if you would like to participate.

In return you receive: a 40 Euros worth VVV cheque, a tee-shirt, a led badge (worth 12 Euros see: http://www.lightshirt.nl/led-badges/48-led-badge-rood-usb.html) and from 17:30 hrs on a drink at the Auditorium. Last but not least: you will have a GREAT experience!
