Junior Project Planner
Job Mission
The Junior Project Planner is responsible for supporting cross sector project & program level support by executing world-class project management processes and methodologies and provides timely and accurate project information to secure effective decision making.
Job Description
- Pro-actively assist the Project Leaders and Project Cluster Managers in developing their detailed project plans and in their day-to-day scheduling activities and agreed upon changes;
- Support the Project Leaders and Project
Cluster Managers:
- by providing accurate project management reporting & metrics: Product dashboard, Project Leader dashboard (status on the triple constrain and technical and operational content);
- during regular review meetings
- in communicating and/or escalating, to the sponsor and different stakeholders, the issues/risks and mitigation to the agreed baselines;
- in financial forecasting (budget) process and pro-actively assist the Project Leaders and Product Development Managers in their (day-to-day) activities with financial delta management;
- Responsible for the application of project (program) standards and processes related to project planning, phase reviews, reporting, metrics, change control and quality checks;
- Secure documentation and retention of all relevant Project Management documents, decisions and changes;
- Participate in cross PMO initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the project management processes.
Education
Minimal level of Bachelors degree, preferably in the area of business administration, engineering, electrical, physics, mathematics or computer science
Experience
- Practical knowledge in the area of Project Management in a high-tech environment related to a product creation process.
- Knowledge of planning methods and tooling (for instance MS Project) is preferred.
Personal Skills
- Excellent communicator, process skills and being able to influence without hierarchical force.
- Convincing personality.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
